Mystery Art Festival

2016 Mystery Art Gallery!

  • What Is Mystery Art?

Mystery Art is an annual exhibit by local and regional artist of all levels. The artwork is donated by the artist and their name and the title of the work is hidden and becomes a mystery. Artwork is displayed in the NorthLight Gallery.

Throughout the course of the exhibit, interested patrons may bid for artwork in silent auction.  If a piece meets the highest silent auction bid possible it goes to live auction on the night of Mystery Art Fest.  During the live auction patrons make a bid and solve the mystery: which artist created each piece of art.

The funds from this event enhance our educational programs and help us to continue the promotion of the arts.

Art On Tap – each Thursday during Mystery Art the gallery will be open late for curious sleuths to seek out clues to who dunnit…. the artwork, that is!
Gallery Talk – a gallery talk will be held one night during the event: learn more about art and get another chance to bid on the artwork on the walls.
Mystery Spirits – One Art On Tap will feature “Mystery Spirits”: an opportunity to taste-test a variety of spirits and guess at flavors
