ArtZeum! Kids’ Exhibit: Outer Space!

July 11

|Recurring Event (See all)

An event every day that begins at 12:00am, repeating until July 29, 2018

Our ArtZeum! Interactive Kids’ Exhibit is free to the public and fun for kids of all ages.

ArtZeum is an annual interactive children’s arts exhibit. It includes multiple interconnected stations where kids can learn about the arts through play and hands-on activities. The 2018 theme is “Outer Space”. ArtZeum emphasizes the important concepts of STEAM: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Maths are combined to provide a rewarding gallery experience to children of all ages. The exhibit includes poetry and writing, visual art, and music as well as engaging children through story-telling, reading, and movement.

We’ll have a variety of “space” themed activities available in the gallery, from finding constellations to learning about the solar system to creating your own alien. And don’t miss our authentic NASA space program items, including a 1/25th-scale model of the space shuttle (it’s still BIG) and a real Apollo astronaut helmet and gloves that you can touch and even try on!
