Studio Saturday: Ghana

May 19 @ 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

FREE

NEW this year, we are creating an Art Passport, each Studio Saturday you attend will bring a new stamp in your passport book!

Are you looking for an opportunity for your children to explore their creative side? You provide the imagination and creativity; we’ll provide the art supplies! Our monthly Studio Saturday event is free of charge. Drop in for a few minutes or the full two hours, we have a fun and artful project to work on each month.  All ages are welcome and the event is FREE! (children must be accompanied by an adult)

THIS MONTH: travel to Ghana!
Kente Cloth (kenten means basket) is a hand-woven cloth originally from the Ashanti Kingdom. We will learn the significance of the colors and patterns while painting our own version of Kente Cloth!
