Thorpe Griner is a portrait and landscape photographer living in Denton, Texas. His passion for photography started during his time at Midwestern State University, where he took photography as an elective before graduating with a degree in Mass Communications. He’s taken that early passion and expanded on it. Working not only in traditional visible imagery, he’s also expanding into the “invisible” through his Project IR, a study of infrared landscapes.
The NorthLight is proud to present this series of regional and national landscapes as they explore what is beyond our first sight, delving deeper into the just-hidden world around us.
