Description

Campers will focus on multiple types of art journaling, working with blank books and altering existing books.  Through guided activities, students will participate in the evolution of their own personal story while giving new life to old objects.  Projects include repurposing old books to create journals, wall hangings, treasure boxes and more.

Supplies

All supplies provided.  Students are strongly encouraged to bring meaningful items from home that can be incorporated into their art journals: photos, keepsakes, stickers, quotes, poems, and images of artwork.

FOR CHILDREN UNDER 18: I acknowledge that my child may participate in a variety of activities provided at the Kemp and I represent that he or she is physically fit to do so.  I agree to assume full responsibility for any risks, injuries or damages, known or unknown, which might be incurred as a result of participating in the program.

FOR CHILDREN UNDER 18: I give permission for my child to be photographed for publicity and/or archival purposes, including but not limited to use on The Arts Council's website, social media site(s), print and electronic newsletters, regional print and broadcast media.

Please note the above scheduled days for your registration.  In the event camp must be cancelled, we will contact the adult email listed above. 

In the event of an emergency during camp, we will contact the adult emergency contact listed above. 

All children under the age of 18 must be signed in at the front desk each day.  Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult when signing in.  Children 12 and up may sign themselves in, but must do so before attending camp.

When you check in your child each day, please include an emergency contact phone number if different than above.

If this class is full, we can add you to our waiting list.  If we have enough interested students to open a new class, we will contact you to let you know.  Please email us at PROGRAMMING@ARTSCOUNCILWF.ORG and ask to be added to a wait list.  (Please specifiy the class you are interested in.)
