Description

These fun and colorful birds are easy to make and a great way to show off beautiful papers of all kindsThis class includes reusable templates, a supply list, suggestions on types of paper to use, and instruction on creating three versions of colorful birds. 

Once complete, you can add ribbon or twine to each bird as a colorful ornament, perfect for hanging or adding to that special gift wrappingOr you can string multiple birds together into a festive garland. 

Students are welcome to bring in their own paper or use the paper provided in class. This project is a great opportunity to use any hand-painted or special papers from your collection.  Papers anywhere from 4” x 4” and larger will work with this project. 

*children between ages 12-15 must be accompanied by a paid adult student

Supplies
All supplies are included to create three birds, plus reusable templates to keep.

Refreshments
Adult classes are BYOB (bring your own bites and beverages).

About Your Instructor

Kristine Thueson is the Programming Director for the Arts Council WF.  Her background is in illustration and book design, particularly hand-bound books utilizing art papers and other custom materials.
