“Illusions of Childhood”
Kristen Longo is a ceramics major and senior at Midwestern State University in Wichita Falls, Texas. She will be graduating in the Spring of 2022 with a Bachelor’s Degree of Fine Arts and a K-12 art teacher certification. Longo has been featured in multiple art exhibitions on and off campus including a publication in Voices magazine, CAMEO Emerging Artists Show, and The Juanita Harvey Art Gallery Juried Student Exhibition.
Her current works take an interest in memories from childhood and reflecting back on them. Longo plans to stay in the Wichita Falls area after graduation to teach elementary school art while continuing to create her own ceramic works.
