What is the Sculpure Garden?

The Sculpture Garden was established in the memory of Minnie Rae Wood. It contains 11 permanent works. It also showcases 10 new pieces each year. Annuallly exhibited pieces are on the grounds for 12 months startng in May.

Artwork is accepted from across contintenal North America. The visiting artwork is juried by a nationally recognized artist, with awards for first, second and third place made at the opening of the exhibit.

Meet the ten visiting artists and juror of the exhibit. Enjoy live music by members of the Steel Drum Band of Wichita Christian School, light appetizers, drinks by the Traveling Tavern Mobile Bar, and of course, good company.

Take a self-guided tour of the exhibit!  We're proud to partner with the Otocast app to provide a tour of the exhibit in the words of the artists.  Just download the app (iOS or Google Play) on your smartphone, then walk around the grounds.  As you approach each piece in the exhibit, you'll see and hear information about the artwork directly from the artist!
